Sunrise Mall starts a new Kids Adventure Club
Citrus Heights, CA, September 29, 2009 – Sunrise Mall kicked off a new Kids Adventure Club at an event last Saturday, September 26th from 1pm to 2:30pm in Center Court near JCPenney. Radio Disney was on hand for prizes, music, dancing, games, and so much more.
The Sunrise Mall Kids Adventure Club festivities will continue indefinitely, meeting every Thursday in Center Court, from 10am to 11am, starting October 1st. The focus will be on children age zero to five, but kids of all ages and their families are welcome. Enjoyment of the Kids Adventure Club is free to registered members.
Sunrise Mall general manager Christi Woodards said, “Sunrise Mall is pleased to introduce this no-cost, weekly, family activity to our customers and the community of Citrus Heights.”
The operators of Sunrise Mall’s Kids Club activities are renowned local children’s entertainers Professor Mimo and Mrs. McGreger from The Imagination Shoppe. The ladies have over 30 years of experience in children’s education and entertainment. To keep things fresh, the Kids Adventure Club activity will vary each week, including make and take crafts, storytelling, music and magical adventures.
“Conducting children’s education and entertainment programs like this really isn’t work,” said Professor Mimo. “It’s been a lifetime labor of love. To watch a child’s face light up when he or she sees a magic trick, or creates a craft to take home… it’s just a joy to see. We’re delighted to bring the Kids Adventure Club to life for Sunrise Mall.”
