Sunrise Mall Names a New Management Team

Citrus Heights, CA, September 14, 2009 – Sunrise Mall will now enjoy the benefit of new leadership for its management team.  New to the shopping center in the last two months is Christi Woodards, General Manager and Vickie Sherman, Marketing Director. 

Woodards brings twenty-five years of shopping center management and marketing experience, most recently as the General Manager for Westfield Downtown Plaza.  Prior to Westfield, Woodards was the Director of Management Services for Madison Marquette Retail Services, which included the redevelopment of Marketplace at Birdcage, so she’s no stranger to the Citrus Heights community.  A fifteen-year resident of nearby Fair Oaks, she has held various positions on the board for the Sunrise MarketPlace Business Improvement District, including committee chair.

“I’m thrilled to be working in the area once again,” said Woodards.  “Sunrise Mall has been a fixture in the community of Citrus Heights for years and I’m pleased to refresh that commitment with new leadership.”

Sherman has ten years of shopping center marketing experience, most recently as a retail marketing consultant for Fountains at Roseville.  Property teams she’s been a part of include those at Hollywood & Highland, Westside Pavilion and Simi Valley Town Center, all in Southern California.  Originally from Wheatland, Sherman and her family relocated back to the Sacramento area two years ago.
