Sephora to Open Spring 2010 inside JCPenney at Sunrise Mall

Sunrise Mall is pleased to announce that renowned cosmetic retailer Sephora will open inside JCPenney in Spring of 2010.  “It’s very exciting to see so many positive changes happening at Sunrise Mall,” said Sunrise Mall general manager Christi Woodards.

“We’re delighted to be enhancing the merchandise selection at our JCPenney and at Sunrise Mall as a whole,” said JCPenney store manager Debra Arnold.  “We’re confident this is a good match.”

“Adding Sephora to JCPenney at Sunrise Mall just goes to show that there are still retail success stories out there, even in this economy,” reiterated Woodards.  “They may be few and far between, but they are all the sweeter for that.”

JCPenney began opening Sephora inside JCPenney stores in October 2006. Today, there are Sephora locations in 155 JCPenney stores across the country. Utilizing a smaller footprint (approximately 1,500 square feet) than a standard Sephora store, each one is located in the center of the JCPenney store and features the signature Sephora look and beauty assortment.

As the exclusive beauty offering in JCPenney, Sephora inside JCPenney offers close to 50 beauty brands. These include color from Nars, Bare Escentuals, Stila and Smashbox; innovative skincare lines such as Peter Thomas Roth, Korres and Caudalie; bath & body tools from Clarisonic; haircare products from Carol´s Daughter and Ojon; and fragrance offerings from Dior, DKNY, Aquolina and Sean John. Plus, Sephora has its own collection of makeup, skincare, bath and body products, and tools and accessories. The store also offers Sephora´s Beauty Studio, a new makeover destination, with 10 minute Express Services including, Conceal & Reveal, Day to Night, Smoky Eye and A Clean Start.
