Pets Can Visit with Santa Claus too at Sunrise Mall
Citrus Heights, CA, November 20, 2009 – From November 20th to December 24th, Sunrise Mall will host Santa Claus in JCPenney Court, near the 35’ holiday tree. But this year, he’s available to visit with more than just area children. From 7pm to 9pm on November 29th and December 6th, Sunrise Mall customers can bring in their furriest family member, their household pets, to take a photo with Santa too.
“Our usual operating policy only allows service animals into the center,” says Christi Woodards, general manager at Sunrise Mall. “But since it is the holiday season after all, and to some Citrus Heights residents, their dog or cat is truly a member of their family, we thought Santa should have the opportunity to hear their gift wishes too,” she said with a wink.
For these two nights only, Sunday, November 29th and Sunday, December 6th, from 7pm to 9pm, customers can bring their domestic animals in a carrier, enter through the main entrance across from JCPenney, take a photo with Santa, and head out the same main entrance. Santa will wear a different suit during these special times so that human visitors during normal photo hours won’t risk having their allergies impacted.
“The holidays are about making memories and as a pet lover myself, Sunrise Mall is pleased to offer this experience to our shoppers,” says Woodards.
