E-Waste Event for Hearts & Hooves Charity at Sunrise Mall

Hearts & Hooves of Sacramento is hosting an E-Waste event at Sunrise Mall on Saturday, September 18, from 8am to 4pm, in the parking lot near Sears and Sunrise Blvd. 

Citrus Heights residents will be able to bring in their unwanted monitors, desktop computers, small electronic equipment, etc. for the charity group to dispose of and keep the proceeds from.

“This event is a convenient way for people that live in our community to discard their old or unwanted electronic equipment and support a noble cause at the same time,” said Christi Woodards, Sunrise Mall’s general manager. 

Hearts & Hooves brings certified miniature horses to people who need physical, speech and grief therapy in hospitals, nursing homes, hospices, and special needs schools – anywhere their warm touch is needed. 

“We’re delighted with the location and support Sunrise Mall has provided to us for this event,” said Maureen Ferreria, executive director of Hearts & Hooves Sacramento.  “Donations of products, professional services or cash are always welcome and greatly appreciated by Hearts & Hooves, as they help us bring amazing moments of healing and tenderness to those that need it most.”
